Mentally ill girl gives birth at Kaduna bus stop

At about 9.am yest@erday, a mentally ill girl delivered a baby at the popular new barrack bus stop near the Federal Secretariat, Kaduna. The incident brings to three the number of times mentally ill women have delivered babies at that same bus stop in recent times.
The bus stop is just a stone throw from the Kawo police station and the Hassan Usman Katsina, Kaduna State House.
It was gathered that the girl, who has been in that area for almost a year delivered her baby around 9.am unaided, and that it was the cry of the baby that attracted passersby.
It was further gathered that shortly after she delivered, women passing by rushed to her, and used their wrappers and head-ties to cover her. They women barred men who were passing by from getting close.
An elderly woman, who works with a Federal Government’s agency at the secretariat, Lami Bulus, confirmed it that,  that was the third time a mentally ill woman was delivering at the bus stop.
“This has become something else because this is the third time this type of thing is happening here. To our surprise, she delivered safely though she wanted to kill the baby afterwards. The men impregnating these women are doing it in order to get worldly things. May God expose them because it is unfortunate,” she said.
A trader in the area, urged the Kaduna State government to extend to the girl the same gesture it extended to a mentally ill woman who delivered sometime ago.
“When Bola, a mentally ill girl delivered here sometime ago, she was taken to a psychiatric hospital, and her baby was taken to the social welfare department. Bola has since recovered, and has returned to Kabba in Kogi State, her state of origin,” the trader said.
She urged the state government to device means of apprehending the men who are impregnating the women.

Boko Haram ceasefire: Military wants 30-day peace guarantee

Military authorities are subjecting the ceasefire declared by Boko Haram to a one-month test to see if there is no attack within the period, Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Ola Sa’ad Ibrahim has said.
Ibrahim, who spoke to journalists in Abuja, said if the sect could give a one-month guarantee of peace then authorities would consider talking to them.
“There are certain objective tests we think that will make sense. Let us assume that we can have a long period of about one month where no bomb explodes, where nobody is shot, nobody is beheaded. Where no church is bombed and where no mosque is threatened, if they can guarantee one month, then we can begin to talk. So we must take this (ceasefire) with a lot of caution,” he said shortly after opening a two-day seminar on national security at the National Defence College.
“But we hope whatever that must have brought this about will further enhance our security. So, we are a bit excited about it but we are taking everything with a lot of caution.”

Suprisingly, it was Whitney's brother that introduced her to drugs

Last night on Oprah's Next Chapter with Cissy Houston, Whitney Houston's older brother Michael, admitted it was he, not Bobby Brown who introduced Whitney to drugs...

Michael tells Oprah,
"We did everything together, so once I was into [cocaine] she was too.”
“I have to live with that for the rest of my life."

I think I have to apologize to Bobby!!

Oprah responds to Twitter Comment

Just as one does not simply walk into Mordor, one does not simply tell Oprah Winfrey that she looks anything less than spectacular. While watching Oprah's OWN interview with Cissy "Whitney's Mom" Houston, a Twitter user posted, "Damn @Oprah look old as hell tonight!!!!!!" Despite having more than 16 million followers, Oprah somehow found that one particular @-reply and responded "old as Hell? Really?" Her detractor tried to backpedal, furiously typing "I mean I'm use to [you] looking Fab and nothing less but just for tonight!!!!," which we think means "Holy sh*t, I had no idea you would actually read that, so I'm both mortified and hiding under the sofa until forever."
