How To Download A Chrome Extension As A CRX File

The Chrome Web Store is awesome but it doesn’t offer you any way to download extensions or apps without installing them.

   Meet Chrome Extension Downloader. It’s a simple web app that lets you download any Chrome app or extension. You need to be able to access an app’s Chrome Web Store page or have access to the app/extension’s ID.

Open the Chrome Web Store and navigate to the app or extension you want to download as CRX file. Make sure the ‘Overview’ tab is selected in the extension’s details’ page and copy the URL. If you plan on just using the app ID, you can copy the part in the URL that comes after the extension’s name. For example, the string of text that comes after ‘google-keep-chrome-extens’ is this extension’s ID.

The ID is a great way to get the extension because you don’t necessarily need to go to the Chrome Web Store, you can just go to Chrome://extensions and copy the ID of an installed extension.

Breaking News: OJB Jezreel Passes On At 49

OJB Jezereel has passed on. According to multiple reports he died a couple of hours ago after his kidney failed last week.

Two years ago OJB had a successful transplant in India after his first wife Mabel donated a kidney to him.

Woman Stabs Her Husband In The Stomach In Zamfara Out Of Plain Jealousy

A woman named Amina Banaga Maru from Gusau Zamfara State capital -allegedly attempted to kill her husband after stabbing him with knife in the stomach three times . According to Rariya media which shared the pictures, the woman nearly murdered her man over plain jealousy. The shocking incident happened in Gusau on Monday (yesterday). The man is currently receiving treatment in a hospital.

The lady in question stabbed her husband NOT because he is warming up for a new wife, but out of mere detestation.

A reliable source revealed to me that the man has two wives already; Amina Maru (the accused) and the senior wife (names withheld). Amina, according to the evidence on ground is not contented with the affairs between her husband and the senior wife. She’s always accusing the husband of preconception and alleges that the man bought a new car for the senior wife, who is a top civil servant...

On the faithful day, he was meant to spend the night at the accused apartment, since he has two separate houses. Unfortunately for him, he was invited to an impromptu business meeting with a top government official in the state. The meeting was over-stretch and at a point, the accused contends that he went to ‘Cuwa-cuwa’ with the ‘Uwargida’ in her home before coming to her house. She got infuriated. The anger therefore triggered her to dwell on him with a sharp knife while he was asleep.

The source also confirmed that the accused has been warning the victim to divorce her, if not, he’ll regret some atrocities. But he gave her threats a deaf ear. She target June 12 to carry out the barbarism because the day was their 1st marriage anniversary. She’s cooling her feet in the custody, while the victim is receiving treatment in Gusau, Zamfara State.

Man Electrocuted To Death While Trying to Steal Electric Cables

According to a Facebook user by the name Iniofon Okon, a young man who sneaked into a transformer unit located along Grace Road in Eket Local Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, was electrocuted as he was trying to steal some armoured cables from the transformer.

It was gathered that the thief sneaked into the transformer unit at about 3am when there was power outage but while he was busy cutting the cables, electricity was restored and he was electrocuted to death.

His body was found in the morning and was evacuated to a mortuary in the town.

He said the administration of President Buhari will deal severely with anyone caught stealing the nation’s wealth.

Speaking at the weekend during the 2016 annual Ramadan lecture and special prayer for the nation, organised by the AUD in Abuja, Bello regretted that some Muslims were major actors in the arms deal, Today.ng reports. He said it was not the way of Islam, adding that the current administration led by President Muhammdu Buhari would not hesitate to deal with anyone guilty of stealing the nation’s wealth.

        Bello said: “Remember when you will return to Allah and give account of your deeds. For you, the clerics who also took from the arms fund, your game is up. The list of those clerics will soon be made public. It has been compiled and will soon be made public. This is a blind government and anybody caught this time around will be severely dealt with. “You were born naked without riches, fame and position. He, almighty Allah only chose to bestow all these privileges upon you, so that you could assist others. Let us all return to God.”
